About
I help adults navigate life stressors, transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related symptoms, including PTSD, so they can feel safe, resilient, and in control of their lives again.
I earned my Master’s degree in 2022, completing an internship at Eastern State Hospital, where I gained experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. After graduation, I worked in community mental health and completed a rigorous EMDR training program through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, becoming an EMDRIA-approved therapist.
In 2024, I obtained my independent clinical license and founded my private practice, Samantha Mills, LCSW LLC, to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care via Telehealth across Kentucky. I am passionate about continued learning and integrating the most effective therapeutic approaches for my clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy music festivals, concerts, cheering on Kentucky basketball, and true crime podcasts, which help me stay energized and balanced.

My mission is to provide accessible, trauma-informed therapy that empowers adults and adolescents to heal deeply and sustainably. My practice is based in Lexington, Kentucky and I offer Telehealth services across the commonwealth, tailoring care to each client’s unique needs. I specialize in EMDR and evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and IFS to address trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more.
I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all — together, we’ll create a treatment path that honors your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. And with Telehealth, you can engage in this process from the comfort of your own home, finding space for yourself while still being present for everyone else who depends on you
